Atmadeep Banerjee is co-founder and CTO of Sabi, a Palo Alto startup building a non-invasive brain-computer interface cap that turns thoughts into prompts for AI. The idea for Sabi grew out of his NeurIPS 2023 spotlight research at MedARC with Princeton collaborators ("Reconstructing the Mind's Eye"), which decoded images people viewed from fMRI scans. He previously mapped brains with Harvard's Visual Computing Group, built computer vision for satellite imagery at Pixxel, did extreme-classification research at Aalto University, and built pathology AI at Morphle Labs. He studied at BITS Pilani, where he met co-founder Rahul Chhabra.
