Hone is a San Francisco AI company building Engines: autonomous systems that enter an organization, learn its operational processes and then take ongoing responsibility for business outcomes, working across people, systems and data to run multi-step workflows end to end in areas such as revenue growth, conversion optimization, cost reduction and operational risk. It was founded by Moritz Stephan, Oliver Brady and Carlo Kobe, whose team includes former founders and early contributors at Cognition, Mercor, Ramp and OpenAI. In October 2026 Hone raised a $60M seed at a $285M valuation, led by Benchmark and co-led by Index Ventures, with participation from Elad Gil, Hanabi, Definition and Diffusion.
