TA Sourcer, Go to Market

What You'll Do

Avalara is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Talent Acquisition Sourcer for our GTM team to power our technical hiring engines. This is a high-impact individual contributor role focused on building robust, diverse pipelines of top-tier talent for our core Go-to-Market teams, ranging from senior individual contributors to executive leadership.

You will partner closely with our technical recruiters and hiring managers to uncover passive talent, leverage cutting-edge sourcing strategies, and serve as an expert market advisor. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of the tech landscape, exceptional stakeholder management, and a passion for candidate advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Proactive Pipelines: Design and execute advanced sourcing strategies (using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and alternative channels) to identify, engage, and attract passive talent.

• Act as a Market Advisor: Partner with recruiters and GTM leaders to understand role requirements, align on target profiles, and provide market intelligence and talent insights.

• Curate High-Quality Sourcing Slates: Deliver well-vetted, diverse candidate slates with speed and precision, ensuring high response and conversion rates through personalized, engaging outreach.

• Elevate Candidate Experience: Deliver a white-glove candidate experience by maintaining transparent communication, sharing compelling narratives about Avalara’s technical stack and culture, and guiding candidates through initial screenings.

• Collaborate on Global Initiatives: Work alongside the global TA and Executive Recruiting teams to share best practices, optimize sourcing templates, and streamline pipeline reporting and governance.

• Navigate Ambiguity & Scale: Manage multiple concurrent searches across various product and engineering domains while maintaining high quality, consistency, and alignment with our hiring bar.
