We don't always have the exact role open when the right person finds us, this is for that.

Ironstead is rebuilding America's industrial base: modern software, hands-on manufacturing, and people willing to learn a shop floor before trying to change it. Our teams span software engineering, integration engineering, manufacturing and machining, quality and compliance, and growth, and we're growing across all of them.

If you didn't see a role that matches your background exactly, but you read what we're building and thought "that's my kind of problem," we want to hear from you.

What we look for, regardless of function:

• High ownership, you drive things through to done, without needing heavy oversight

• Genuine curiosity about manufacturing, hardware, or the physical world, not just software for its own sake

• Comfort with ambiguity and early-stage pace

• Directness and integrity, even when it's the harder conversation

• A bias toward being in the room (or on the floor) over working at a distance

What this is (and isn't):
This isn't an application for a specific job, it's how we build our pipeline. Submitting your resume here means:

• We'll review it against upcoming openings as they come up, not just what's live today

• We'll reach out directly if something looks like a fit

• We're not able to guarantee a timeline or a specific outcome, and we won't spam you in the meantime

To apply:
Send your resume and a couple sentences on what draws you to Ironstead — a specific project, the mission, the problem space, whatever's genuine — to [talent community email/link]. Tell us the function you're most interested in (Software, Integration Engineering, Manufacturing/Machining, Quality & Compliance, Growth, or Other) so we can route it well.
