Founding AI engineer - Paris

About the role

The role

Working directly with the founders, you will improve software with full ownership: frontend, backend, infrastructure. You will work with Claude Code and Codex.

Specifically, you will:

• Maintain and improve the autonomous AI actuary - knowledge management, data extraction, connectors with 3rd party software, continuous improvement of UX/UI based on feedback and self-usage, self-improving loops
• Build AI agents that run the business - working with growth staff, automate business workflows towards full automation
• Maintain and improve the overall infrastructure

Requirements

• High agency and ownership mentality

• Tasteful and able to judge independently from consensus or AI slop

• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript

• Ability to work across the stack

• Located in Paris, fluency in French and English required

• Academic excellence

• 2 – 5 years shipping software in venture-backed tech companies

• Demonstrated track-record building with AI tools and managing multiple coding sessions

• Familiarity with data science and/or statistics
