AI Solutions Architect

BeyondAI is hiring an AI Solutions Architect to lead enterprise AI solution design for clients across APAC. This is a senior, client-facing role covering the full engagement lifecycle: discovery, technical scoping, solution architecture, and delivery alignment. The role bridges business needs and technical execution. You will work with clients, Sales, Delivery, Engineering, and partners to shape AI solutions that are feasible, measurable, and scalable. The role calls for strong architecture skills, business analysis, executive communication, and experience in both pre-sales and delivery.

Alongside new opportunities, you will support ongoing APAC client projects together with the delivery project manager. This includes extending the BeyondAI Platform and other deployed decision-support solutions with LLM, conversational, and agentic AI capabilities. You will also work with clients, regional teams, and partners across multiple APAC markets, so cross-border communication is a core part of the role. Cantonese is a strong plus, as several Hong Kong client stakeholders prefer to work in Cantonese during workshops, requirement clarification, issue resolution, and SLA-related escalation.

Must-have profile

A proven track record of leading enterprise AI solution design for complex client environments, ideally gained at an AI product company, consultancy, systems integrator, or digital transformation firm, and in client-facing roles that combine discovery, pre-sales, and delivery architecture for enterprise or government clients across APAC.

What kinds of projects you will lead?

• Enterprise AI assistants and knowledge platforms
• Generative AI and RAG solutions for secure, data-sensitive environments
• Predictive and prescriptive analytics for industrial and operational use cases
• LLM, conversational, and agentic AI workflows added to the BeyondAI Platform and other deployed decision-support solutions
• AI-driven automation and decision support integrated with enterprise systems
• Hybrid, private cloud, or on-prem AI deployments (including AI-in-a-Box) for regulated, data-sensitive clients
• Cross-border APAC client engagements, including Hong Kong clients who prefer Cantonese, and SLA-related escalation when needed

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client discovery sessions, business workshops, and architecture discussions
• Map AS-IS and TO-BE processes into requirements, feature lists, and user stories
• Produce BRDs, solution design documents, and architecture diagrams, and draft SOWs covering scope, assumptions, deliverables, and acceptance criteria
• Communicate effectively with both end users and senior client executives
• Build trusted client relationships and manage demanding stakeholders
• Translate business needs into AI use cases, architecture options, and phased implementation roadmaps
• Define end-to-end solution architectures across data, AI/ML, GenAI, agentic workflows, integrations, infrastructure, and security
• Assess data readiness, including data access, quality, and transformation needs
• Evaluate whether available data and knowledge sources are sufficient, and identify gaps and risks early
• Coordinate with specialist AI leads (LLM, ML, computer vision) to confirm technical approach and feasibility
• Validate solution fit against infrastructure constraints, timelines, current AI capabilities, and data realities
• Define measurable success criteria by comparing AS-IS and TO-BE states
• Help clients understand business impact and value
• Prepare budgetary estimates covering infrastructure, licenses, and services
• Support pre-sales activities, including proposals, RFP responses, demos, effort estimation, and solution positioning
• Work with Sales and regional teams across APAC to qualify opportunities and turn early interest into structured scope
• Work with engineering, delivery teams, and delivery partners to move solutions from architecture to execution
• Support the delivery project manager on ongoing APAC projects with requirement clarification, change requests, and technical decisions
• Lead cross-border communication with APAC clients, including Hong Kong client engagement, issue clarification, and SLA-related escalation
• Ensure a clean handover from pre-sales to delivery once opportunities become awarded projects

Required Experience

• Enterprise solution architecture
• Business analysis and process discovery, feature definition, and user stories
• Working with data engineering and enterprise integration teams
• AI/ML solution design, generative AI, RAG, and agentic workflows
• Working with cloud, on-prem, and hybrid deployment teams
• APIs, enterprise systems integration, and interoperability
• Knowledge of SSO, RBAC, IAM, and enterprise security principles
• Delivery governance, solution estimation, SOW drafting, and success measurement
• Executive communication, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management
• Professional English and Mandarin communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in energy, oil and gas, utilities, industrial, construction, or government sectors
• Experience with enterprise AI platforms in secure or regulated environments
• Familiarity with on-prem AI infrastructure such as GPU servers, model serving, and AI-in-a-Box deployment models
• Experience working with delivery partners or outsourced engineering teams across multiple regions
• Enterprise or public-sector project experience in APAC markets such as Hong Kong, Singapore, or Southeast Asia
• Cantonese proficiency for engagement with Hong Kong clients (strong plus)
• Additional APAC languages (e.g., Thai, Japanese, Korean, Bahasa Indonesia/Malay) are a plus
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical or business field
