It uses a two-stage architecture that first plans the composition, layout, objects, and exact text before rendering the image, delivering more precise layouts and accurate text rendering. Trained on millions of human-created designs from Canva's own library rather than public internet scrapes, it generates images up to 2K resolution with custom aspect ratios and support for text in 55 languages. Generated outputs integrate with Magic Layers to become fully editable Canva designs. Available immediately to all users in Dream Lab and via Canva's public API for developers and AI agents.
