Yejin Choi is the Dieter Schwarz Foundation HAI Professor, a professor of computer science, and a Senior Fellow at Stanford HAI. She studies smaller, more capable language models, common-sense reasoning, and pluralistic alignment, with an emphasis on making AI useful across communities. A MacArthur Fellow, she earned her PhD at Cornell and her bachelor's degree at Seoul National University.
