Toby Shevlane is cofounder and CEO of Mantic, an AI forecasting startup. Previously, he was a research scientist at Google DeepMind, where he worked on AI strategy, governance, and evaluations for potentially dangerous model capabilities. He holds a PhD in Governance of Artificial Intelligence from the University of Oxford.
