Steve Tuck is co-founder and CEO of Oxide Computer Company, the Emeryville, California company building rack-scale, on-premises cloud computers with hardware and software designed together. Before founding Oxide in 2019 with Bryan Cantrill and Jessie Frazelle, he spent a decade at cloud computing company Joyent (acquired by Samsung in 2016), rising from leading go-to-market and Joyent Cloud to SVP Worldwide Sales, COO and President. Earlier he spent about ten years at Dell, where he grew the channel business and led Dell's involvement in Facebook's developer platform launch. He earned bachelor's degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
