Oussama Elachqar is a co-founder of Oumi, working on open and collaborative frontier AI. Previously, he was a staff machine learning engineer at Apple Health AI and Twitter, an entrepreneur in residence at AI2 Incubator, and a machine learning manager and applied scientist at Microsoft. His work spans language models, wearable-sensor models, conversational AI, and handwriting recognition. He earned master's degrees in computer science and machine learning at Georgia Tech and in computer science and applied mathematics at ENSEEIHT.
