LightOn is a French AI company, founded in Paris in 2016, that builds an enterprise AI search platform for AI agents and teams. LightOn turns an organization's whole document estate into one governed, machine-readable source of truth, with products spanning LightOn Core, LightOn Apps and an API, and research on document understanding models. It is listed on Euronext Growth Paris (ALTAI), takes part in EU projects such as OpenEuroLLM, and has been led by CEO Jean-Philippe Baert since July 2026. In October 2026 it released LightOnOCR-3, its most accurate document understanding model.
