JOBY creates the world’s most versatile tools for explorers and creators. Founded in 2005 in Santa Cruz, California, we began with a simple idea: make camera gear more flexible, functional, and fun. We transformed the industry with the launch of the iconic GorillaPod®, a tool that redefined how creators capture their shots. And today, we continue to build tools that adapt to the explorer and their environment — never the other way around. We design and manufacture an ecosystem of versatile tools, including flexible tripods, mobile phone mounts, and lighting gear. Our products are defined by "tactile joy" and "visual originality," ensuring that every piece of gear is as unmistakable as it is adventure-ready. As a key pillar of the VIJIM Group, JOBY serves as the "Explorer" stage of a comprehensive growth path for creators. Alongside our sister brands Ulanzi (accessible gear for new creators) and FALCAM (professional-grade systems for photographers & filmmakers), we provide a seamless ecosystem that supports users from their first shot to their professional career. From the legendary GorillaPod® to our next-gen mobile rigs, we are dedicated to removing the barriers between an idea
