Alto is a technology-led platform that connects retirement capital with private markets, with solutions for advisors, investors, issuers and more. Historically, investing in alternatives like private equity, venture capital, real estate, and private credit through a retirement account meant navigating fragmented custodians, manual paperwork, and limited support. Alto removes those roadblocks, serving as both marketplace and custodian so investors, advisors, and institutions can access private markets within a tax-advantaged Traditional, Roth, or SEP IRA. Today, Alto serves as IRA custodian for approximately $2 billion in assets held by 32,000+ self-directed IRA investors, and supports more than 3,200 issuers raising capital on the platform.* Through Alto Private Deal Room, registered investment advisors can execute self- and client-sourced private market deals inside client IRAs, with custody, account-level compliance, and execution managed end to end. At its core, Alto's mission is to expand access to private markets and help shape the future of long-term investing. Learn more at altoira.com. *All data as of June 30, 2026.
