Danqi Chen is an associate professor of computer science at Princeton, co-leading the Princeton NLP Group and serving as an associate director of Princeton Language and Intelligence. Her research develops language models that reason, retrieve information, and use context effectively. She spent the 2025–26 academic year at Thinking Machines Lab and previously worked at Facebook AI Research and Google DeepMind.
