Caiming Xiong is a co-founder of Recursive. Previously, he led AI research and applied research at Salesforce, rising from lead research scientist to senior vice president between 2016 and 2026. He earned a PhD in computer science and engineering from the University at Buffalo in 2014 and bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
