Fremont Group is the San Francisco-based single-family office of the Bechtel family, originating as Bechtel Investments in the 1980s before becoming independent in 1993. It invests long-term across buyouts, growth equity, secondaries and real estate, both directly and through external managers, alongside providing tax, estate and philanthropic services to the family.
