Spencer Libbing
Spencer Libbing I build product for AI infrastructure at the layer where GPUs meet orchestration. On Azure Kubernetes Service I lead strategy for AI inferencing efficiency and node-level cost, and I’ve spent five years making clusters come up faster and run leaner, from cutting node provisioning latency by over 90% at up to 5,000-node scale to launching Prepared Image Specification, which lets GPU nodes boot with models, drivers, and images already baked in and now runs across tens of millions of cores. I work across AKS engineering, Azure Compute, and upstream Kubernetes, and I’ve spoken at KubeCon on this work. Before Microsoft I co-founded a technology consulting firm that grew to 50 people, and I came up through hardware and storage at Western Digital. I’m most interested in GPU cloud, inference platforms, and the infrastructure that makes models cheap and fast to serve.
