Knowmia was an educational video platform founded by Ariel Braunstein and Scott Kabat. It helped K–12 students find short lessons from teachers, review difficult subjects, and prepare for tests. The San Francisco company participated in Y Combinator's Summer 2012 batch. TechSmith announced its acquisition of Knowmia's technology products in its November 2014 newsletter.
