Gallatin is building an AI-powered logistics platform for the defense industry, providing actionable insights across tactical, operational, and strategic levels for first-, middle-, and last-mile solutions. Its flagship decision-support platform, Navigator, connects data and workflows across the force to give a unified view of readiness and orchestrate sustainment across vehicle readiness, supply, medical and other mission-support functions; it is used by Army and Air Force customers and deployed with U.S. units in exercises from Japan to Alaska to Europe. Phalanx combines logistics data with sensors and computer vision to automate asset inventory and visibility. Founded in 2024 by Woody Glier (CEO), Daniel Buchmueller (CTO) and Brian Ballard (CPO), Gallatin is headquartered in El Segundo, California, with offices in Washington, D.C., and Austin, Texas. In October 2026 it raised a $50M Series A from investors including 8VC and Silent Ventures, bringing total funding to $70M.
