Commonweal Ventures invests $500K–$2.5M in pre-seed and seed companies working in sectors such as health, energy, public safety, defense, infrastructure and government services, and raised a $51M Fund II in 2026. It was founded by Nate Loewentheil, a former Obama White House economic-policy adviser, and is advised by former cabinet officials and mayors.
