InsurTech NY connects the insurance industry with startups through events, corporate innovation programs, competitions, an accelerator and an MGA lab, and runs the InsurTech Fund, a seed-stage fund that invests in North American insurtech companies through convertible notes or equity and supports them from seed through Series A, using InsurTech NY's deal flow and programs. David Gritz and Tony Lew co-founded it in 2019. The fund's portfolio includes Gigaforce, SingleKey, Beycome, Kwant, Stere, SureBright, Eleos, Fenris and Quantee, which Guidewire acquired in 2025.
