Accumulator lets founders and early employees of leading private tech companies swap a portion of their shares for ownership in a broader pool of 50+ category leaders, without selling, giving up voting rights or changing the cap table. It is an alternative or complement to a secondary sale, and admission is selective: companies need a priced round in 2024 or later, a last valuation above $100 million, and profitability or 18+ months of runway. Founded by Dave Waiser, former CEO of Gett, it raised $46 million at a $140 million valuation in December 2024. The pool includes SpaceX, Epic Games, Discord, Perplexity, Deel, Monzo, Oura, Docker, Flo Health and Tanium.
