Simon Willison builds open-source tools for exploring data, including Datasette and LLM, and serves on the Python Software Foundation board. He co-created Django, co-founded Lanyrd and later led engineering at Eventbrite, following work at The Guardian and Yahoo. He also works one day a week with Prime Radiant, an applied AI research lab.
