Scott Stephenson is co-founder and CEO of Deepgram, a voice AI platform for speech recognition, speech generation, and AI agents. He is also a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund. Before founding Deepgram, he was a postdoctoral researcher at UC Davis working on dark-matter detectors, following doctoral research on the PandaX and Michigan Xenon experiments. He earned a Ph.D. and master’s in Physics from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s in Physics from the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
