No one’s made a bigger impact on CSS than @adamwathan, @steveschoger, and the @tailwindcss team. I’ve been a fan & a friend of theirs for years and I’m so pumped to have them come help us push the web forward. Exciting times ahead!
Almost ten years ago I started helping Adam with this little CSS framework he was putting together. It's been an incredible journey — one that's had a huge impact on the development community, and an even bigger impact on my life. I feel so blessed to have been part of it, and I'm thrilled for this next chapter. Thanks to everyone who believed in us ❤️
I've seen Adam put up with so much criticism by solving a need. I am beyond happy for Adam and everyone that helped with this project. It's that customer centered mindset that is the most valuable thing that @tobi and Shopify is getting. Congrats Adam!
Seems like a great home for tailwind! Congrats Adam and thank you for such a valuable contribution to software.
The biggest news of the day — when a beloved founder with a devoted fan base both of him and his product, finds a forever home for said project in the tumultuous new world of AI coding. Congrats and well-deserved.
Yesterday was my last day on team Tailwind! The best team I've ever worked with. I'm extremely excited for my friend @adamwathan and the team. I joined 4 years ago when I was still on my own startup journey, and I've decided that now is the time for me to go on my own adventure again. I'm going to miss working with Adam, Jonathan, Robin, and Steve a lot! I can't wait to see what they do at Shopify. I'll share more about what I'm working on soon 🙂
