Scott Nolan is founder and CEO of General Matter and a partner at Founders Fund. An early SpaceX engineer who worked on Merlin engines and Dragon, he later invested in hard engineering problems across energy, manufacturing, and aerospace. He founded General Matter after searching for an American uranium-enrichment company to back, turning an investment thesis about a neglected industrial bottleneck into an operating company.
