Mira Murati is co-founder and CEO of Thinking Machines Lab, which builds AI that people and organizations can customize. As OpenAI's CTO, she led research, product and safety teams behind systems including ChatGPT and DALL-E. She joined OpenAI in 2018 after product and engineering leadership at Leap Motion and product-management work at Tesla. She also serves on Unlearn's board. Murati studied through the Colby–Dartmouth dual-degree program, earning a BA from Colby and a Bachelor of Engineering from Dartmouth.
