📍 New York City (Hybrid/In-office)
💰 $65,000 – $120,000 base + Equity + uncapped OTE

About Accend

Accend is AI-enabled Moody’s Analytics. We’re building the AI infrastructure layer for commercial credit underwriting.

Banks, fintechs, and credit unions still rely on manual financial spreading, fragmented Excel models, back-and-forth document collection, and inconsistent credit memos. We’re replacing that with structured, AI-powered workflows.

We’re backed by Y Combinator (S23 batch), Adverb Ventures, General Catalyst, 645 Ventures, and angels from Anthropic, Stripe, Brex, Carta, etc.

We work with high-growth fintechs and established banks, including companies like Brex, Rippling and Corpay, among others.

We’re scaling aggressively in 2026. As our first GTM hire, you won’t just join the org - you’ll build it. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the revenue engine, define the playbook, and help architect the team that follows.

The Role

Accend is hiring its first GTM operator.

This is not an SDR job.
This is not a traditional AE job.
This is a foundational, company-shaping role.

You’ll work directly with Pranjal (CEO) to generate pipeline, book high-quality meetings with B2B fintechs, commercial banks, and credit unions, and quickly grow into owning deals end-to-end.

Month 1: You are a pipeline machine.
Month 2: You’re leading calls.
Month 3: You’re closing enterprise deals and flying to conferences with the CEO.

If you have a Get Sh*t Done mindset, love operating at high intensity, and want front-row exposure to building a generational fintech company - this is for you.

This is a highly visible and crucial role that offers the opportunity to meaningfully influence the company’s direction and help shape the future of Accend.

Why This Role Is Different

At other fintechs, GTM hires execute on playbooks.

At Accend, you will help build the playbook.

You’ll sit in the room when strategy decisions are made.
You’ll join enterprise sales calls.
You’ll attend banker conferences one week and fintech dinners the next.

This is the actually closest thing to being a founder without being a founder.

What You’ll Do

🚀 Build & Execute Outbound

• Identify and prioritize high-value target accounts
• Research decision-makers (Heads of Credit, Chief Credit Officers, Lending Ops, Risk)
• Craft thoughtful, personalized outreach that drives responses
• Consistently book qualified meetings every week
• Test and iterate messaging to improve conversion rates

📊 Own CRM & Pipeline Management

• Maintain accurate CRM data across all pipeline stages
• Ensure notes, next steps, and forecasting are always up to date
• Track conversion metrics across the funnel
• Build and maintain dashboards that show pipeline health and performance
• Create repeatable workflows for lead routing, follow-ups, and stage progression

You won’t just “use the CRM.”
You will help design how it supports revenue.

🤖 Use AI to Scale GTM

We are an AI-native company - our GTM motion should reflect that.

You will:

• Use AI tools to research and qualify accounts at scale
• Build AI-assisted personalization workflows
• Identify buying signals using structured and unstructured data
• Experiment with automation tools to increase output without sacrificing quality
• Continuously optimize for leverage

We’re looking for someone who thinks in systems and scale, not just activity.

🎙️ Drive Sales Conversations

• Lead discovery calls with prospects
• Understand customer workflows and pain points
• Clearly articulate Accend’s value
• Advance opportunities toward closed won
• Support pricing and commercial discussions

🤝 Represent Accend

• Attend industry conferences, dinners, events with the CEO
• Help prepare meeting lists and event strategies
• Translate real customer feedback into sharper positioning
• Contribute to refining our ICP and messaging

Who You Are

You are hungry, intelligent, and results-oriented.

You:

• Thrive on setting your own agenda and executing relentlessly until you hit outcomes
• Love data, experimentation, and refining what works
• Are comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration
• Communicate clearly: written and spoken
• Are energized by pipeline creation and customer interaction

You take ownership and score when activity turns into revenue.

You don’t wait to be told what to do. You see an opening and run through it.

You are excited by:

• Fintech
• Banking infrastructure
• AI
• Enterprise sales
• High ownership

What You’ve Done (Nice to Have)

• 2-4 years in SDR / AE / GTM at a fintech company/high-growth startup
• Sold to fintechs, banks, or complex B2B buyers
• Demonstrated top performance
• Proven outbound success

Compensation & Benefits

• Base: $65K–$100K (based on experience)
• Equity in a fast growing YC company
• Uncapped commission (!!!)
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
• Meaningful upside tied to revenue
• Hybrid/In-office in NYC

High performers will scale quickly.

What Success Looks Like

Month 1

• Book 10+ qualified meetings
• Own outbound list building
• Start contributing to call strategy
• CRM fully organized and clean

Month 2

• Running discovery independently
• Building pipeline consistently
• Helping refine ICP & messaging

Month 3

• Closing deals
• Representing Accend at events/conferences
• Becoming a revenue leader

Application Question (Mandatory)

We don’t want safe answers.

What out-of-the-box method would you use to book a meeting with a commercial bank or fintech decision-maker - that does NOT involve email, phone calls, LinkedIn, X, or traditional social media outreach?

Go wild.
Be creative.
Make us say: “We have to talk to this person.”

If you want predictable, structured, low-volatility - this isn’t it.

If you want front-row exposure to building something massive - apply.
