Ventia is seeking reliable Cleaners to join our team at the Station in Kalgoorlie.

This position offers consistent weekly hours across a mix of afternoon and evening shifts, making it ideal for someone looking for ongoing work and supplementary income.

Role Details

Position: Cleaner 
Location: Kalgoorlie Train Station, WA
Start Date: ASAP

Pay: from $34.96 per hour plus penalties and super
Contract: Casual, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position based on performance

Roster Option 1

Monday: 13:30-16:00 & 22:00-00:00
Tuesday: 14:00-16:00
Wednesday: 14:00-16:00
Saturday: 14:00-16:00

Roster Option 2

Wednesday: 13:30-16:00
Thursday: 14:00-16:00
Friday: 13:30-16:00 & 22:00-00:00
Sunday: 21:00-23:00

Potential for additional hours based on operational requirements.

About the Role

As a Cleaner, you will help maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the train station, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment for passengers and staff.

Key Duties

Clean station facilities, amenities and common areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum and dust surfaces
Restock consumables as required
Follow cleaning schedules and safety procedures

About You

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
Reliable and able to work independently
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
Able to work afternoon and evening shifts consistently
Must be able to pass a National Police Check and random drug and alcohol screenings
