THE ROLE
As our Founding Designer, you'll own the end-to-end UI/UX of the Nirva companion app, from first wireframe to shipped pixels. You'll work directly with the CEO, CTO, and founding research/product team to define, prototype, and ship — setting the design bar and building it yourself.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
End-to-end UI/UX of the companion app — IA, interaction, and visual design, with obsessive attention to detail.
The full arc from concept to ship: wireframes, high-fidelity design, prototyping, and polish through implementation.
Rapid prototyping using AI tooling (including Claude Code) to go from idea to working prototype fast.
The design bar — you set the standard for craftsmanship and hold the product to it.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
7–9 years of UI/UX experience (flexible for high-potential candidates — portfolio matters most).
An outstanding portfolio showing strong craftsmanship, taste, and attention to detail.
Consumer mobile app experience (must-have) — you've shipped consumer-facing mobile products.
Advanced fluency with AI prototyping tooling, including hands-on use of Claude Code.
Hands-on and self-motivated — you thrive with full ownership and little process.
COMPENSATION
$150K–$270K cash, plus founding member–level equity.
