About the role
ABOUT US
Our mission at Avelios is to unlock clinical data to power seamless healthcare operations for better patient care. To do so, we have built a modular software platform that digitizes and optimizes workflows in hospitals with cutting-edge technology in a user-friendly way. With our software, we enable hospitals, doctors & nurses to provide their patients with the best possible care.
We are growing fast and want to keep expanding our team and business to fundamentally digitize healthcare for the better. We appreciate different backgrounds and see diversity as one of our strengths.
THE TEAM AND ROLE
Avelios is growing fast, and so is our leadership team. To make sure our people and leaders grow with us, we are building People Development from scratch. As our first People Development hire, you report directly to our Head of People & Operations and shape how leadership and learning work at Avelios. You define what great leadership means for us, build programs around it and deliver them yourself, from leadership trainings to 1:1 coaching to company-wide learning formats. This role is for someone who loves both designing concepts and standing in front of a group.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You build a shared understanding of leadership at Avelios and translate it into a clear leadership playbook
You design and deliver leadership programs and trainings based on the playbook for leaders at all experience levels, from first-time managers to experienced leads.
You will be the go-to sparring partner for leaders, giving guidance with individual leadership topics
You conceptualize and run trainings for all employees (e.g. how to give peer feedback), and establish formats that are scalable
You moderate team and leadership workshops
You define KPIs for development measures wherever possible and make their impact visible.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
University degree, e.g. in psychology, business administration, education or a comparable field.
Several years of experience in leadership and people development, ideally in companies known for strong leadership development; experience in high-growth environments is a plus.
A proven track record of both designing leadership programs and trainings and delivering them yourself.
Experience coaching leaders and facilitating workshops; a coaching certification is a plus.
You know how to measure the impact of learning and development measures.
Confident presence in front of groups, including senior leaders, combined with empathy, discretion and a hands-on mentality.
You thrive in a fast-changing environment and enjoy building something from scratch.
Business-fluent German and English (C1+), able to deliver trainings and coaching in both languages.
YOUR BENEFITS
Variety in your tasks and the opportunity to take ownership
An international, informal team structure in a motivating start-up atmosphere, allowing you to participate directly in our customer growth story and the overall success of Avelios
Ability to gain valuable hands-on experience in a startup backed by leading international VCs
Support for your personal development through continuous learning and feedback
Set your own rhythm with flexible working hours and trust-based time tracking
A virtual stock option package (VSOP) that lets you participate in Avelios’ long-term value creation
A monthly meal allowance up to 75 euros, full coverage of the Deutschlandticket, Urban Sports Club or a subsidized Wellpass membership, a bike leasing program and Corporate Benefits that give you access to discounts from a wide range of providers in various areas
