About the Role

Join Hinge Health's GI Care team and help members improve their digestive health through personalized, evidence-based nutrition care.

As a Registered Dietitian, you'll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and behavior-change coaching to members managing a wide range of digestive health conditions. Through virtual visits and in-app messaging, you'll build meaningful relationships with members, help them navigate complex symptoms, and empower them to make sustainable changes that improve their health and quality of life.

You'll be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary care team that values clinical expertise, professional judgment, and whole-person care. Hinge Health combines innovative technology with human-centered care, giving you the tools and support to focus on what matters most: helping members achieve meaningful health outcomes.

A Flexible Approach to Care Delivery

This is a remote, W-2 position with a flexible scheduling model designed to align clinician capacity with member demand.

• Guaranteed minimum of 25 paid hours per week, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours based on business needs.

• Advance scheduling visibility: Receive an outlook of your anticipated hours approximately one month in advance, with your schedule confirmed at least two weeks ahead.

• Paid time for more than just appointments: Your scheduled hours include member visits, documentation, care coordination, team meetings, and other clinical responsibilities.

• No need to build your own caseload: Hinge Health connects members with their care team and facilitates appointment scheduling.

• Consistent compensation during scheduled hours: Cancellations and no-shows do not reduce your pay for scheduled working time.

We're looking for clinicians who enjoy working in an evolving digital health environment, are comfortable with variable weekly schedules, and are excited to help shape the future of virtual nutrition care.

What you'll do

• Deliver individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy: Assess and support members managing conditions such as IBS, IBD, GERD, chronic constipation and diarrhea, gastroparesis, SIBO, food intolerances, malnutrition, and other digestive health concerns.

• Build meaningful member relationships: Provide compassionate, personalized care that helps members feel heard, supported, and empowered to manage their digestive health.

• Support sustainable behavior change: Partner with members to establish realistic goals, develop practical strategies, and build habits that support long-term health.

• Use clinical judgment to guide care: Individualize nutrition interventions, appointment frequency, and ongoing support based on each member's needs, goals, and progress.

• Provide continuous support: Combine virtual visits with personalized in-app messaging to reinforce progress, answer questions, and maintain engagement between appointments.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team: Work closely with health coaches and other clinicians to deliver coordinated, whole-person care.

• Leverage innovative technology: Use digital health tools, clinical resources, and AI-supported workflows to enhance care delivery while maintaining clinical judgment and a human-centered approach.

• Contribute to continuous improvement: Share clinical insights, member feedback, and opportunities to improve the care experience and delivery model.

• Maintain high-quality clinical documentation: Complete timely, accurate documentation and follow established clinical standards, protocols, and escalation processes.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for Registered Dietitians who are passionate about digestive health, skilled at building relationships, and excited about delivering high-quality care in a virtual environment.

• Member-Centered Care. You lead with empathy, listen actively, and understand that every member's experience with digestive health is unique. You can translate complex nutrition recommendations into practical, achievable steps.

• Strong Clinical Judgment. You apply evidence-based nutrition principles, think critically, and individualize care based on member needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

• Effective Coaching and Communication. You know how to build rapport, support behavior change, and help members make meaningful progress. You're comfortable communicating through both video visits and written messaging.

• Collaboration and Teamwork. You value learning from others, sharing knowledge, and working collaboratively to deliver the best possible member experience.

• Adaptability and Growth Mindset. You're curious, open to feedback, and comfortable learning new approaches as digital healthcare continues to evolve.

• Technology-Enabled Care. You're confident using technology to support clinical care and comfortable working with AI-powered tools while applying your professional judgment to ensure accuracy, safety, and personalization.
