About Us
We are an ambitious team that uses latest AI models to tackle tax complexity for Brazilian companies and we’re expanding our engineering team to cope with strong customer demand.
At Camu, you'll get a chance to work directly with our founders Brian Requarth (Co-Founder of VivaReal & Latitud), Felipe Carvalho (ex-CRO & founding team of Pipefy) and Yuri Danilchenko (Co-Founder of Latitud & ex-CTO of Escale), alongside an exceptional team with experience from leading companies like NuBank, Amazon, and Mercado Livre.
Backing our team are top-tier funds like a16z, NfX, and Endeavor Catalyst, and inspiring leaders like David Vélez, Stelleo Tolda, and Gonzalo Lissarrague.
The problem we’re trying to solve
Brazil has one of the world’s most complex tax systems, with mid-sized companies spending over 20,000 hours yearly on tax management. Globally, taxes are being reshaped by technology, however those solutions struggle to address Brazil’s unique demands. Teams face time-consuming manual tasks that are hard to scale as they verify errors in supplier-issued invoices (NFe). Constant legislative changes further complicate the challenge, making it difficult to stay compliant and keep ERP records for products, services, and suppliers up to date.
Our Solution
Camu builds software that helps companies tackle the Garbage-In/Garbage-Out problem. Our platform seamlessly integrates with various systems, streamlining invoice capture, validation and tax management, across multiple jurisdictions. With the help of large language models we help teams ensure continuous compliance for their tax obligations, enabling them to work smarter, faster, and more effectively.
Why join Camu?
Real product outcomes
You'll be using AI to build products that solve real problems for our customers, e.g invoice validation with current tax legislation and streamline integration with enterprise systems. We’re looking for exceptional individuals to join our founding team and help us scale to greater heights. In this role, you’ll work on real-time, mission-critical systems that handle high volumes of transactions and data. Together, we’ll create tax compliance products meeting the rigorous demands of enterprise-grade applications and ensuring our customers stay confidently compliant.
Shape our Growth and Impact
As part of our team, you’ll play a crucial role in building a strong foundation for our future from day one. You’ll mentor and onboard new team members as we grow, helping to shape our engineering culture. You’ll also experience first-hand the many details that go into building a company and will have a meaningful impact on our overall vision and strategy.
