Who We’re Looking For

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Are passionate about reversing the autoimmune epidemic and helping people live healthier lives through functional nutrition

• Have experience delivering care that goes beyond traditional approaches, focusing on whole-body health rather than food pyramid guidelines

• Are curious, open to growth, and able to provide and receive feedback constructively

• Are excited to work in an innovative startup environment with autonomy and creativity

• Are someone with a passion for holistic health and willingness to embrace supplements, lab testing, and advanced care techniques

• Familiarity with autoimmune conditions and ability to assess and recommend personalized interventions, including diets, supplements, and testing

• Growth-oriented mindset, with a curiosity to learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving field

You might not enjoy working with us if you:

• Like working in a more established, structured environment. You'll help build our company's culture, processes, and ways of working

• Don't like working with ambiguity—since we're an early-stage startup, projects and priorities shift

• Are looking for lots of guidance in your role—while our team members have a ton of expertise to share, we'll also be looking to you to take ownership and work autonomously

• Like your work to be well-defined from the get-go. We'll be looking to you to bring your own experience and perspective to help us do the right things and flag if you think we should do things differently. You will have the opportunity to bring creativity and ownership to your projects

• Prefer working only in person. We are a remote company and will have in-person events every year, but will not require employees to be in an office every day

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with members to assess health concerns and provide personalized care plans using a functional nutrition approach

• Leverage functional lab testing to evaluate nutrient deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, and gut health, tailoring interventions to address root causes

• Guide members in adopting sustainable, anti-inflammatory diets, addressing lifestyle factors like stress, sleep, and movement

• Participate in specialized training to build expertise in functional nutrition and autoimmune protocols

• Work cross-functionally to integrate WellTheory’s care model into the broader healthcare system

What we offer

• Competitive Salary and Equity

• Health/dental/vision insurance, health FSA, flexible PTO, 9 paid holidays, year-end office closure

• Home office stipend, professional development support, licensure cost coverage for multi-state expansion

• Comprehensive benefits package:

  • Flexible time off policy, 9 paid holidays, and a 9-day full office closure at the end of the year.

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance; health FSA.

  • Home office stipend and professional development opportunities.

  • Regular team events and off-sites.
