Your Impact

As a Software Developer specializing in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), UiPath, and emerging agentic AI technologies, you will design, develop, deploy, and support intelligent automation solutions across the Order-to-Cash organization. This is a hands-on development role focused on solving complex operational challenges through technology while partnering with business analysts, process owners, technical teams, and fellow developers to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise automation solutions using UiPath Studio, UiPath Orchestrator, and related UiPath technologies.
• Develop reliable unattended automations supporting high-volume and business-critical O2C processes.
• Contribute to the development and adoption of agentic AI and intelligent automation solutions within Order-to-Cash.
• Design workflows that combine RPA, AI, business rules, enterprise data, and human decision points where appropriate.
• Evaluate business processes to determine the appropriate use of traditional RPA, AI-enabled automation, agentic workflows, or a combination of technologies.
• Explore opportunities for AI agents to support information gathering, classification, summarization, exception handling, case management, and decision support.
• Build automation solutions supporting Billing, Fulfillment, Client Enablement, the Billing Help Desk, and other Order-to-Cash operations.
• Automate processes across enterprise applications including SAP, Siebel, Salesforce, web applications, Microsoft Excel, databases, and other business systems.
• Design transactional automations using UiPath capabilities such as queues, assets, triggers, reusable workflows, retry mechanisms, exception handling, and logging.
• Integrate automation solutions with SQL databases, APIs, files, email systems, enterprise applications, and AI services.
• Work closely with business analysts and O2C process owners to understand operational requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, simplify workflows, improve accuracy, and enhance the client experience.
• Participate in solution design and technical reviews to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with development standards.
• Develop and maintain UiPath Orchestrator components including queues, assets, triggers, processes, folders, and unattended automation configurations.
• Implement comprehensive business and system exception handling to ensure reliable transaction processing and recovery.
• Troubleshoot production automation issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Monitor automation performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, execution time, transaction throughput, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, support procedures, and deployment documentation.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, release management, and production deployment activities.
• Develop reusable automation components and contribute to RPA and intelligent automation development standards and best practices.
• Ensure automation and AI solutions comply with OpenText requirements for security, privacy, access management, auditability, change management, and responsible AI use.

What the Role Offers

This role provides the opportunity to work at the intersection of enterprise automation, AI, and business transformation within OpenText's Order-to-Cash organization.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Work with leading technologies including UiPath, AI-enabled automation, agentic AI, SAP, Siebel, Salesforce, SQL Server, APIs, and enterprise business systems.
• Help shape the future of automation within O2C by combining traditional RPA with emerging AI capabilities.
• Build solutions that support critical business functions across Billing, Fulfillment, Client Enablement, and the Billing Help Desk.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams, business analysts, and operational leaders across the organization.
• Influence how automation and AI are applied to improve operational efficiency, decision support, accuracy, and client experience.
• Contribute to the development of increasingly intelligent and connected solutions capable of supporting end-to-end business processes while maintaining appropriate controls and human oversight.

Automation within O2C is evolving beyond traditional task automation. While RPA continues to provide a reliable foundation for high-volume, rules-based processes, agentic AI introduces opportunities to automate and support more complex work involving unstructured information, reasoning, exceptions, and interactions across multiple systems.
