Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP is seeking outstanding lateral candidates from all class years with excellent litigation skills, including discovery, brief writing, taking and defending depositions, pre-trial preparation, and trial experience, appropriate for the class year.  Ideal candidates will be familiar with complex business litigation in both federal and state court.  Experience drafting ready-to-file documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses, the ability to independently manage case files and tasks, and strong research, analysis, and writing skills are required.  An impressive level of academic achievement and experience practicing litigation at a peer firm or as a judicial clerk are preferred qualifications.  Candidates should be admitted in, or be in process of being admitted to, the state in which they are applying.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking substantive work, a high level of responsibility early in their careers, and regular direct contact with both partners and clients.
