The Dream Job

We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure behind Dream's Detection & Response platform. It's a high-throughput, data-heavy, multi-tenant system running across AWS and on-prem environments, with real-time streaming, ML training and inference, and AI agents in production. You'll design and manage production-grade solutions that keep it scalable, reliable, and secure, set the standards for how it's built, and create the shared tooling that makes those standards the default. 

The Dream-Maker Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with development teams to define and implement infrastructure requirements that fit their needs. 
• Diagnose and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments to ensure system stability and optimal performance. 
• Design and build the internal platforms, tools, and services other engineering teams rely on, and add new ones as we grow. 
• Make architectural decisions across infrastructure, applications, networking, security, and data. 
• Design for scalability, availability, performance, and resilience in high-scale production systems. 
• Apply Infrastructure-as-Code practices end-to-end. 

The Dream Skill Set

• 5+ years in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles. 
• Experience designing and building platforms and infrastructure from scratch. 
• A strong architectural sense: you understand how infrastructure, applications, networking, security, and data fit together. 
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform. 
• Experience with CI/CD technologies. 
• Experience with high-scale production systems and with the infrastructure behind AI/ML workloads. 
• A startup mindset: hands-on, curious, and comfortable with a broad scope and a lot of room to shape your own work. 
• Advantage: Experience with MLOps or AI workloads: GPU infrastructure, model training, and serving. 
• Hands-on experience with distributed databases or analytics engines. 
• Experience deploying and supporting software in on-prem or hybrid environments.
