Mentimeter is an engagement company with a simple goal: to make every leader better. Through interaction, insights and recommendations, its platform helps organizations turn participation into better understanding and stronger performance.

Founded in Stockholm in 2012, Mentimeter is used by 20 million people each month across 1.3 million organizations. At Mentimeter, we believe better leadership starts with listening and that the strongest results are achieved together. That’s why we foster a culture built on curiosity, collaboration and shared ownership. By joining us, you’ll help leaders turn participation into deeper understanding and stronger performance, advancing our ambition to help more than one billion people listen, learn and work better together.

The Role

With our Engagement Suite in place, we’re continuing to strengthen the product organisation behind it. As Senior People Growth Catalyst (that’s what we call our People Partners at Mentimeter) for Product, you will help develop the leadership, team structures and people practices that support our next phase of growth.

You will join the Product leadership team, bringing a people perspective to decisions about team structure, leadership, performance and the capabilities we need next. Working closely with craft leaders across our Product department, you will connect our product ambitions with practical choices about how people and teams work and grow.

As we scale our product organisation, there is plenty to build on: how careers develop across crafts, how we strengthen leadership capability, and how our people practices support an organisation that ships and learns every week. You will work with leaders to understand what is working, identify where we can do better and turn those insights into lasting improvements.

You will be embedded in Product and part of the People Growth team within People & Culture, reporting to the People Growth Director.

What we are looking for

You are an experienced People Partner who understands product organisations from the inside. You know how different crafts contribute, how cross-functional teams work, and what meaningful career development looks like for both individual contributors and managers.

You bring strong people expertise, business understanding and sound judgment. You can easily move from organisational direction into the detail of a calibration session. You build trust, offer a clear perspective and are comfortable challenging senior leaders while remaining open to being challenged yourself.

You work with autonomy: setting the approach when there isn’t one, managing several complex priorities and adjusting your plans without waiting for direction.

In this role, you will:

• Shape Product’s people priorities: Build and drive a people plan with the leadership team, connecting business priorities with leadership capability, skills, career development and succession.
• Help the organisation evolve: Work with leaders on team structures, responsibilities and collaboration across crafts as our product ambitions develop.
• Support performance and growth across Product: Lead development cycles, calibration and salary reviews, building consistency across crafts and career tracks. Build on our shared people practices, adapting them to Product’s context and incorporating what we learn from each cycle.
• Strengthen leadership: Coach directors and managers through everyday leadership and difficult people decisions, and help put our Heart & Bravery leadership manifesto into practice.
• Turn insight into action: Bring together people data, engagement feedback and what you learn across teams to identify priorities, agree actions and follow through on progress.
• Create productive leadership conversations: Design and facilitate leadership sessions and offsites that help the group work through challenges, make decisions and move forward.
• Guide complex people matters: Support leaders through sensitive employee matters and organisational change, working with People & Culture to ensure sound judgment and compliance with Swedish labour law.

Requirements

• 8+ years in HR/People, including senior HRBP or People Partner experience working closely with product and engineering leadership in product-led tech companies.
• Experience across different product organisation setups, including helping an organisation adapt through growth or change.
• Strong practical expertise in performance management, calibration, development and salary reviews across different crafts and career tracks.
• Experience translating business priorities into organisational design, workforce planning and talent decisions.
• Strong coaching and facilitation skills, with the confidence and judgment to challenge senior leaders constructively.
• Solid knowledge of Swedish labour law and experience supporting organisational change, including MBL consultation processes.
• Clear communication in English and the ability to make complex people topics understandable and useful to different audiences.
• Practical experience using data and AI to improve how you work.

AI and Hiring at Mentimeter
At Mentimeter, we believe AI helps us work smarter - but it never replaces the human assessment, curiosity, and personal connection that define our culture and our hiring. We use AI as a sparring partner: to bounce ideas, bring new perspectives, support structure, and make our work more efficient. But the meaning, decisions, and interactions always come from people. AI strengthens our work, but it does not define it. At Mentimeter, we’re not building an AI-driven hiring process - we’re building a people-first culture, where technology helps us listen, learn, and grow together.

Culture at Mentimeter
At Mentimeter we believe in giving everyone a voice - regardless of who you are. So we build a platform that does just that. Our platform is not only our product but also our organization. A platform where people feel safe, where differences are embraced, a place where you can have fun. We strongly encourage applicants who are people of color, LGBTQ+, women, people with disabilities, and/or formerly incarcerated people, and a college degree is not strictly required. In order to give everyone a voice, we need to be as diverse as our users.
