To build our first team at our brand-new location in Guadalajara, Mexico, we are looking for dedicated Android Embedded Developers (m/f/d). You will play a central role in shaping the local workspace, building scalable backend systems, supporting our growing engineering team, and establishing a seamless connection with our central functions.

Your Tasks

• You design, develop, test, and maintain Android-based applications, system services, and platform components for next-generation automotive infotainment and intelligence platforms

• You integrate AI-powered features, speech/audio capabilities, and multimodal AI models across onboard compute platforms and cloud environments

• You develop and optimize software components using Android Automotive OS (AAOS), Android frameworks, system services, and vehicle-specific interfaces (such as VHAL)

• You optimize Android workloads and embedded performance for automotive hardware (CPU, GPU, NPU, memory, and startup latency)

• You perform root-cause analysis, system debugging, and performance profiling across development benches, test environments, and target vehicles

• You contribute to continuous integration pipelines, automated unit and integration tests, and Agile software delivery processes in multicultural teams

Your profile

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or offer equivalent professional experience

• You bring 3+ years of professional software development experience in Android, embedded systems, or automotive software engineering

• You offer strong programming skills in Kotlin (and Java), with deep experience in Android application lifecycle, IPC, and platform APIs

• You demonstrate solid experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS), Android frameworks, system services, or low-level platform components

• You possess knowledge or experience in integrating AI/ML services, conversational voice AI, LLMs, or multimodal AI applications

• You have hands-on experience with Linux-based embedded development, ADB, Android Studio, Gradle, and systematic debugging tools

• You combine strong problem-solving abilities and a continuous learning mindset with excellent written and verbal English communication skills
