ABOUT OUTMARKET

Outmarket is an AI-powered platform purpose-built for commercial insurance agencies. We help agencies grow revenue and reduce E&O risk without adding headcount by amplifying what their best people do across every customer engagement and workflow.

We are building for the AI era, where growth can be exponential and operating models must evolve accordingly. Our customers are learning how to compete and win at a new scale using AI, and we are building that same model internally.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring a Strategy & BizOps Senior Manager / Manager to serve as a core operating partner to the Head of Finance & Strategy and the broader leadership team. This is a high-impact generalist role for someone who can turn ambiguous questions into structured analysis, sound decisions, and effective execution.

You will work across operations, finance, go-to-market, and technology. One week you may be building a financial model for a board meeting. The next, you may be standing up a pricing framework or driving a critical cross-functional initiative from idea to implementation. If you need narrowly defined lanes, this role will be frustrating. If you like building where there is no clear owner yet, you will likely thrive.

WHY THIS ROLE

• Work directly with leadership on the company’s highest-priority questions and initiatives.

• Help build the operating systems, reporting rhythms, and decision frameworks that will shape the next stage of growth.

• Gain broad exposure across finance, GTM, operations, recruiting, and product analytics.

• Play a central role in making sure key decisions are grounded in data and followed through to execution.

• Join a company where the playbook is still being written and your impact will be visible immediately.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Own high-priority initiatives that do not have a natural home, from scoping through execution.

• Build and evolve core operating rhythms such as weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.

• Design and improve mission-critical business processes across functions.

• Build dashboards, metrics, and success measures that give leadership better visibility and decision-making leverage.

• Design, deploy, and improve AI workflows, automations, and agent-driven processes using the existing tech stack or by recommending new tools.

• Support board and investor reporting, including analysis and narrative development.

• Partner cross-functionally to solve complex operational problems quickly and pragmatically.

• Create structure where none exists yet.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 4 to 8+ years of experience in a combination of a) finance (investment banking, private equity) or management consulting, and b) at a high-growth startup.

• Strong analytical skills, including comfort with financial data, modeling, and spreadsheet-based analysis.

• Structured thinking and the ability to break down ambiguous problems into practical next steps.

• Strong execution skills and a willingness to own outcomes end to end.

• Ability to build trust quickly with internal stakeholders and work effectively across functions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfort moving between strategy, analysis, and hands-on execution without getting hung up on org boundaries.

BONUS IF YOU HAVE

• Experience in CDD/Private Equity consulting or analytical operating roles.

• Familiarity with business systems, workflow automation, or internal AI tooling.

• Experience supporting executive planning, investor materials, or board preparation in a high-growth environment.

• Exposure to vertical SaaS, insurtech, or B2B operating models.

WHAT YOU’LL GET

• Direct partnership with the founding team at a company defining a new category in commercial insurance.

• The opportunity to build AI-first functions and operating systems from the ground up.

• A front-row seat to hyper-growth in the AI era, with real autonomy and scope.

• Competitive compensation, meaningful equity, and clear room to grow.

• Remote-first flexibility.
