Abode Money is the first financial manager for homeowners. We save homeowners money on property taxes, insurance, mortgage and more, every year. Our vision is to be the first to create an ongoing relationship with 80M+ homeowners.

Homeowners spend $2T+ a year on their homes with almost no help. We're the first and only company that can lower property taxes in all 50 states, and there's no better way into the homeowner relationship than the bill everyone hates.

Most consumer fintechs are building slightly better versions of products that already exist. We're using AI to turn work that has always been a service into software, and there has never been a better moment to do it.

We've raised $25M from Permanent, Drive, Sequoia, Core VC and 81 Collection.

The Role

This is the most AI-pilled role at Abode. You're just as much product and design as you are engineer, and you use AI in every part of the job to move faster than anyone thinks is possible.

You'll build the first version of new products, features, and flows in days, push code every day, and work directly with the CEO and growth team to see the impact in the numbers.

What You’ll Do

• Launch New Products Fast: Build MVPs of new products, features, and flows in days, from insurance and mortgage to whatever we bet on next.

• Ship Every Day: Push code daily and turn funnel ideas into production tests fast.

• Own Product and Design: Decide what to build, design the flow, and make the UX calls yourself.

• Build with AI: Use AI across the whole stack to move faster, and show the rest of the team how.

• Measure Everything: Instrument what you build and use the data to decide what's next.

Who You Are

• In Austin or willing to relocate. We work in person 5 days a week.

• 5+ years shipping consumer-facing product

• Strong with React, TypeScript, and a modern backend

• Use AI for nearly everything you build and are always testing new tools

• Have product and design taste, and care how the product feels to the customer

• Are a former founder or early-stage engineer who owns outcomes

Compensation

$170,000 – $220,000 base, plus equity
