OUR VISION

When people use our technology to "bridge the gap" between the physical and digital worlds, they don’t just capture reality - they create a new one. In this new reality, they are smarter, more productive, more streamlined, and more creative - because they have the digital foundation to build the world they want to live in.

That’s what NavVis offers in all our products and services: the tools to not just map the world as it is, but to pave the way to a better future. To forge something new. Physical or digital, there is only one reality. And it’s the reality NavVis empowers people to build better.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Can you imagine diving into the development of the software and components that run our innovative mobile indoor mapping system, operated by companies in more than 25 countries worldwide?

You will join the Mapping and Perception Team, whose mission is to create software solutions for mapping entire buildings and creating realistic 3D representations such as maps, point clouds and panoramic images, based on cutting-edge technology in the area of robotics.

We are a very international team and if you feel at home with software engineering and want to build something that makes indoors digital, this is the right place for you!

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Apply clean code techniques & design patterns and mentor your teammates through in-depth code reviews

• You will mainly work on our processing pipeline – from raw sensor data to the generation of point clouds, panoramic images and maps.

• Develop and ship our applications into cloud infrastructure by closely collaborating with our cloud team

• Analyzing and improving our applications with respect to efficiency, scalability, and stability

• Full life cycle of application development from design to deployment including infrastructure and continuous integration/delivery

• Continuous improvement of automated tests and automated delivery of software.
