About the role

About Us:
SlaySchool.com helps medical students by using generative AI to transform notes, exams, and videos into interactive study material. In the past 7 months, we have served over 150,000 students from over 5000 medical, nursing, and health affiliated schools globally.

Role:
We are looking for a driven Founding Engineer to join our startup. This role demands rapid implementation of features and collaboration on multiple projects to enhance our platform's capabilities. In addition to education projects, you will also explore other innovative avenues.

Why should you join?

Our secret sauce is not just in the product but in how we go to market and gain distribution. If you’re looking to start a company one day, or interested in understanding growth, this is a great place to learn. You’ll be required to iterate and experiment quickly and should love working with data and challenging assumptions. Ultimately you are looking for a place that will make a massive impact on thousands of people using a combination of technology and great user experiences.

We prefer candidates in Canada, specifically in or around Toronto. That’s not to say we won’t hire from outside, but we’re intentional about building a great Canadian technology company.
