We are on the lookout for an Operations Manager in Buena Park, California who shares our passion for customer satisfaction and safety excellence. In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and reinforcing our commitment to a secure and healthy work environment. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and an ability to drive efficiency and effectiveness within our operations.
Role Details:
Salary: $90,000-$105,000
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm with weekend flexibility during busy seasons

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
○ Oversee daily operations at the Buena Park site, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities.
○ Ensure all operations are conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards.
○Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
Team Leadership:
○ Recruit, train, and manage a team of employees, including warehouse staff, drivers, and administrative personnel.
○ Foster a positive and productive work environment by providing clear direction, feedback, and support.
○ Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans for team members.
Customer Satisfaction:
○ Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
○ Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding service level agreements (SLAs).
○ Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service delivery.
Safety and Compliance:
○ Ensure all site operations comply with health and safety regulations.
○ Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
○ Maintain compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
Financial Management:
○ Develop and manage the site’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
○ Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
○Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
Logistics Coordination:
○ Coordinate with other GoBolt sites and the central logistics team to optimize the flow of goods and information.
○ Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing holding costs.
○ Oversee the scheduling and routing of deliveries to ensure timely and accurate distribution.
Continuous Improvement:
○ Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
○ Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to keep the site operations up-to-date.
○ Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving overall business performance.
Reporting and Analysis:
○ Prepare regular reports on site performance, including operational, financial, and customer satisfaction metrics.
○ Analyze data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
○ Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
What You Bring:
- 4+ years of experience in warehousing and e-commerce fulfillment operations
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., MBA, PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus
- 3+ years of managerial experience in a warehouse setting with the ability to execute management directives during high volume periods
- High degree of technological literacy (understanding multiple applications and systems related to business functions)
- Exceptional customer service skills and a demonstrated capacity for interfacing with large enterprise clients
- Experience leading end-to-end performance management cycles
- Highly analytical with problem-solving aptitude and a strong decision-making ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred
