Role Overview Job Role: Government & CPSU Liaisoning Location: New Delhi (Corporate Office / On-field) Department: Strategy & Distribution Reporting To: Director / Vice President – Strategic Alliances
Job Purpose: The CPSU Liaisoning incumbent will drive corporate growth by building and maintaining high-level relationships within Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs) and Government of India (GoI) ministries. You will align MediBuddy’s healthcare ecosystem (telehealth, wellness, health checks, and digital healthcare infrastructure) with the procurement, employee health, and CSR budgets of key government enterprises.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Liaisoning & Daily Relationship Management ● Daily Departmental Visits: Conduct daily on-field visits to target government and CPSU departments to maintain continuous visibility and absolute top-of-mind recall for MediBuddy.● Top-Down & Bottom-Up Building: Cultivate deep, institutional relationships using a dual approach—engaging senior bureaucrats and board-level executives while concurrently nurturing ties with execution-level officers, section officers, and desk assistants.● Organise Leadership Meetings: Schedule, prepare, and drive strategic meetings between Senior Officials (Directors, HoDs, CPOs) of CPSUs and MediBuddy’s Senior Leadership.2. Cross-Departmental Navigation Within CPSUs ● Finance & Procurement Cells: Engage with Procurement and Contract Management Cells to understand vendor registration, empanelment processes, and commercial evaluation criteria.● Health & Medical Departments: Pitch MediBuddy’s primary healthcare solutions to CPSU Health Departments for employee/retiree medical schemes.● CSR Departments: Identify opportunities to deploy MediBuddy's healthcare solutions (e.g., rural health camps, digital clinics) via CPSU Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds.3. Market Intelligence & Spend Tracking ● Budget Tracking: Proactively monitor, track, and map annual budget allocations and active spends across all levels of the Health and CSR wings of target CPSUs.● Tender & RFx Management: Track Government E-Marketplace (GeM) listings, RFPs, and global tenders to ensure timely, compliant bids tailored to MediBuddy’s core competencies.4. Travel Requirements ● Outstation Travel: Undertake frequent travel outside Delhi NCR (up to 30-40% of the time) to visit CPSU operational headquarters, regional offices, and manufacturing plants across India.● On-Site Operational Visibility: Travel to project sites to oversee the launch of major healthcare empanelments, health camps, or CSR initiatives, ensuring smooth delivery and client satisfaction.● Corporate Alignment: Visit MediBuddy’s corporate headquarters as required for strategic reviews, product briefings, and alignment with senior leadership.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications: 1. Experience & Education ● Experience: 8 to 12 years of core experience in Government of India (GoI) and CPSU Liaisoning (Candidates from corporate healthcare, insurance, or enterprise technology solutions preferred).● Proven Track Record: Demonstrated history of navigating complex government hierarchies and successfully closing multi-million rupee empanelments or contracts.● Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. An MBA or Post Graduate Degree in Public Policy, Healthcare Management, or Business Development is highly advantageous.2. Technical & Functional Skills ● Deep Network: Existing, active relationships spanning all tiers—from senior bureaucrats down to administrative and operational desk staff within Delhi/NCR.● Procurement Knowledge: Thorough understanding of government tendering processes, GeM portal dynamics, and General Financial Rules (GFR).● Corporate Alignment: Ability to translate complex government mandates into actionable business opportunities for MediBuddy’s product lines.● Mobility: Willingness to travel at short notice to meet outstation CPSU stakeholders and manage regional operations.
