Are you ready to own something that truly matters?

If you've spent years mastering the complexities of Order-to-Cash and you're done simply maintaining the status quo - this could be the role you've been waiting for.

At BMS, we're looking for someone who doesn't just understand O2C processes and technology; someone who gets energised by transforming them. Someone who sees a broken workflow and can't help but fix it. Someone who knows that when O2C works brilliantly, the whole business feels it.

This is your chance to own that. Globally.

What you'll be doing and why it matters

Shaping Strategy & Driving Innovation

You won't be handed a playbook and told to follow it. You'll be writing the playbook - contributing directly to the global O2C strategy and bringing your own ideas, energy and ambition to the table.

• You'll spot inefficiencies before they become problems, diagnose root causes fast and move decisively from insight to action - meaning your recommendations translate into real, measurable change
• You'll continuously scan the horizon for emerging tools, technologies and best practices and you'll have the platform and the credibility to bring those ideas to life inside a global organisation
• You'll champion a culture where people think differently and perform better and you'll see that shift happen around you

The impact? You'll leave a lasting mark on how a world-leading biopharmaceutical company operates.

Becoming the SAP & Technology Authority

If you're a deep SAP S4 and BW specialist, this is where you get to use that expertise at its fullest - not just advising, but leading.

• You'll be the go-to expert for process design and technology optimisation across the O2C domain, giving you genuine authority and influence over how the function evolves
• You'll lead the evaluation and implementation of automation, AI and analytics solutions - building a future-proofed O2C landscape that others will follow
• You'll shape the technology roadmap in partnership with IT, ensuring the tools in place actually serve the business — not the other way around

The impact? You'll modernise the systems that thousands of colleagues and customers rely on every day.

Owning the End-to-End Process

This is real ownership - not just a title. You'll hold the integrity, governance and global standardisation of O2C in your hands, across regions, across functions, across competing priorities.

• You'll lead high-impact transformation programmes with confidence - managing complexity, keeping stakeholders aligned and delivering outcomes that stick
• You'll build a global performance management framework with clear KPIs, real accountability and the visibility to know what's working and what isn't
• You'll navigate regional regulatory requirements with clarity - keeping everything compliant and audit-ready, so the business can focus on what it does best

The impact? When O2C runs well, customers get what they need, revenue flows, and the business grows. You'll be the reason that happens.

Influencing at Every Level

You'll quickly discover that the most powerful tool in this role isn't a system or a process - it's you. Your ability to build trust, inspire action and bring people together across Finance, IT, Supply Chain and Commercial will be what makes transformation actually land.

• You'll operate with credibility at senior leadership level, gaining buy-in for bold initiatives without needing positional authority to do it
• You'll lead global and regional governance forums, turning what could be routine meetings into meaningful conversations that drive progress
• You'll break down silos and build a shared sense of accountability - because you know lasting change is only ever achieved together

The impact? You'll become the connective tissue that makes a global function feel like one team.

Growing the People Around You

Great leaders make others better. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to coach, challenge and mentor colleagues - helping them build deep O2C and technology expertise they'll carry throughout their careers.

• You'll create an environment where curiosity is celebrated, innovation is expected, and people feel safe to challenge and be challenged
• You'll share knowledge and best practices freely across regions - raising the bar for the whole function, not just your immediate team

The impact? The people you develop here will go on to lead. That's a legacy worth building.

What you'll bring

Your experience:

• 10+ years in Order-to-Cash or related finance/supply chain operations, including project management and leadership experience
• Deep specialist knowledge of SAP S4 and BW within an O2C context -  order management, billing, credit management, collections, cash application - you know this inside out
• A proven track record of delivering transformational process improvements at scale
• Pharmaceutical or life sciences experience? That's a real advantage here
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Supply Chain, IT or a related field; a Master's or professional qualification (CPA, CIMA, APICS) is a plus

Your strengths:

Proactive problem solver: You'll solve problems others haven't noticed yet and get the credit for it

Innovation-driven: Your ideas will be listened to, funded and implemented

Change agent: You'll build momentum that outlasts your direct involvement

Analytically rigorous: Your recommendations will land because they're backed by evidence

Collaborative by nature: You'll build relationships that make the hard things possible

Influential communicator: You'll move senior audiences without needing a title to do it

Resilient & adaptable: Complexity won't slow you down - it'll bring out your best

Detail-conscious: You'll operate at strategy level without losing sight of what matters on the ground

Why this role? Why now?

Because O2C is the backbone of how BMS gets life-changing medicines to the people who need them — and this is the moment to transform it.

You'll have the scope, the mandate and the senior support to make a real difference. You'll work alongside smart, committed people who care about doing things right. And you'll build something you can point to — a function that's faster, smarter and more capable than before you arrived.

If that sounds like the challenge you've been looking for - we'd love to hear from you.
