Job summary

As the CG&S Growth manager within Accenture’s Global Network node in Costa Rica, you will build and run a nearshore team that helps leading consumer goods clients across the Americas grow — through sharper commercial strategy, route-to-market, revenue growth management, and pricing. You will pair deep commercial expertise with the leadership to turn it into a high-performing, scalable team.

You will partner with Market Unit and client-account teams to shape and win work, orchestrate delivery, and grow the people and capabilities of the node. This is a player-coach role: part practitioner solving the hardest commercial questions, part leader hiring, coaching, and setting the standard for the team.

Roles & responsibilities

Build & lead the team

• Stand up and grow the CG&S team in the Costa Rica Global Network node — hiring, onboarding, and building the capability mix needed to serve Americas clients.

• Lead, coach, and develop consultants — set performance expectations, manage staffing and utilization, run career development, and build a strong team culture.

• Establish ways of working — delivery standards, quality controls, knowledge assets, and reusable accelerators that scale across engagements.

Deliver for clients

• Own delivery quality across engagements — provide strategy leadership on complex growth and commercial transformations throughout the lifecycle.

• Design growth and market-entry strategies for consumer goods brands across emerging and developed Americas markets.

• Optimize Route-to-Market and distributor management models to improve reach, service levels, and efficiency.

• Shape pricing and revenue growth strategies — price-pack architecture, mix, promotion effectiveness, and channel economics.

• Bring data and AI-driven insight to demand forecasting, territory planning, and sales execution.

Originate & grow the business across Market Units

• Support sales and origination across MUs — work with account and Market Unit teams on proposals, solution plans, and delivery approaches for growth engagements.

• Lead or own end-to-end proposal responses as solution owner, shaping the pursuit and the commercial and delivery model.

• Develop offerings and points of view that strengthen the CG&S growth proposition and build the node’s pipeline.

• Build senior client and internal relationships that generate repeat and expansion work.

Job qualifications

• Experience: 10+ years of post-MBA experience. A consulting background is required; Consumer Goods & Services industry experience (operating or consulting) is a strong plus. Experience building and running a team is essential. Global, multi-market delivery experience across geographies / Market Units is a plus, not a requirement.

• Educational qualification: MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 business school.

• Language: Professional working proficiency in English.

• Availability to travel may be required.

Bring your best skills forward to excel in the role

• People leadership — you build teams, develop talent, and get the best from others in a large, global organization.

• Program & delivery leadership — you can run complex programs end to end and hold quality, scope, and timelines.

• Executive communication & storytelling — strong presentation and public-speaking skills with senior client and internal stakeholders.

• Analytical rigor — you bring clarity to complex issues and ground decisions in data-driven insight.

• Adaptability — you thrive in a fast-changing environment where continuous innovation is expected.

• Cross-cultural competence — you collaborate effectively across onshore, nearshore, and onsite teams.

What’s in it for you?

• An opportunity to work on transformative projects with key G2000 clients across Consumer Goods & Services.

• Potential to co-create with leaders in strategy, industry experts, and enterprise-function practitioners to shape solutions that leverage emerging technologies.

• Ability to embed responsible business into everything — from how you serve clients to how you operate as a professional.

• Personalized training to build your strategy & consulting acumen, growing your skills, industry knowledge, and capabilities.

• Opportunity to thrive in a culture committed to accelerating equality for all, with boundaryless collaboration across the organization.
