Description
Night Float CRNA opportunity 7 nights on 7 nights off schedule in Austin, TX at St. David's Medical Center in Austin, Texas. NAPA (North American Partners in Anesthesia) provides anesthesia services for much of the St. David s Health Care system in the Austin area including St. David s North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center and accompanying outpatient surgery centers. St. David s Medical Center is home to the world-renowned Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David s Neuroscience & Spine Institute and is recognized for providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. Our diverse group of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and CAAs, are exposed to a wide variety of complex cases; in addition to the utilization of our care team model that focuses on everyone having a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping to deliver care excellence

Case Assignments
• Our practice covers the full range of specialties including general inpatient and outpatient cases, trauma, OB, neuro, EP and more. 
• CRNAs do their own spinals; as well as epidurals and arterial lines on a case-by-case basis.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
