You will bridge complex financial domain logic with scalable distributed systems, working backwards from internal finance, accounting, tax, and audit stakeholders to build automated, highly reliable, and compliant platform products.

What You Will Do

• Define Strategy & Roadmap: Build product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Coupang's core finance and accounting platform products, aligning technical architecture with business growth and regulatory requirements.

• Accounting & Operations Partnership: Partner directly with Coupang’s Controllership, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Internal Audit teams to deeply understand their workflows, automate manual month-end processes, streamline continuous closing capabilities and automate accounting operations.
• Backlog & Execution Management: Author granular user stories, technical specifications, and clear acceptance criteria; maintain a well-prioritized backlog in an agile framework to ensure high-velocity, defect-free delivery.
• Data Integrity & Automation: Establish product metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) focused on data accuracy, reconciliation speed, automated ledger entry rates, and system processing latency.
• Stakeholder Communication & Leadership: Present product updates, architecture decisions, and strategic trade-offs to senior finance and technology leadership, building alignment across business units.
• Coupang Leadership Principles: Embody a customer-first (and internal userfirst) mindset, obsessing over operational efficiency, operational rigor, and zerodefect financial reporting.

Qualifications
